Optional Activity: Visit to the Berlin Wall
On November 12, 2023, we had a free afternoon to explore Berlin. We chose to visit the Berlin Wall, an iconic landmark that the city is famous for. It was my first time seeing it, and I found it impressive, particularly because of all the artwork displayed on it.
INTERGEO 2023
On November 10, 2023, we attended the INTERGEO fair in Berlin, one of the largest international trade fairs for geodesy, geo-information, and land management. The fair offered a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments, trends, and innovations in the sector. From software and hardware to surveying and mapping equipment, everything related to spatial data that contributes to global challenges like the climate crisis, urbanization, and resource management was on display.
The atmosphere at INTERGEO was inspiring and dynamic. The event not only allowed us to experience the latest technologies and applications up close but also enabled networking with professionals in the sector and establishing valuable contacts.
The visit to INTERGEO was an especially enriching experience due to the many workshops and presentations we could attend. What made it even more valuable was the open attitude of the exhibitors: everyone was willing to provide detailed explanations about the equipment and answer all our questions.
