Project Bouw en Infra

During semester 4 (2024), I worked with three other students on the "Expansion of HOGENT Sports Hall" practicum. The goal of this practicum was to use basic measuring instruments such as GPS, total stations, leveling instruments, and construction lasers in a construction and infrastructure context.

We performed various surveying tasks, including setting up an XYZ reference system, surveying the terrain and the building's existing geometry, conducting volume measurements to determine maximum soil storage, and materializing main axes and levels. This project was highly valuable as it clearly demonstrated which surveying instrument is suitable for specific tasks.
