Gambia
From December 8 to 19, 2023, I had the opportunity to travel to Gambia with a fellow student and a professor as part of the HerMaP Gambia initiative. This project strengthens the cultural sector in Gambia and promotes social progress, heritage preservation, and tourism in the Greater Banjul area.
During our trip, we conducted workshops on the software programs QGIS and Agisoft and assisted with the modeling of two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was a unique experience where I could not only share my knowledge but also acquire new skills and insights.
