Lecture given by Justice of the Peace
On March 13, 2023, we attended an interesting lecture by Mr. Koen Gobin, Justice of the Peace for the 2nd canton of Ghent. This lecture, organized by Mr. Jan Kamoen, was titled "Property Law: Topics for the Surveyor-Expert and the Justice of the Peace."
During the session, we gained insight into how theory from our lessons is applied in practice. Mr. Gobin discussed various topics, such as boundary marking, neighborly relations, and legal amendments. It was an educational experience that gave us a more realistic view of how property law is applied in the daily work of a Justice of the Peace.
